Christie's The Collection of Elizabeth Taylor Exhibit a Big Hit in LA and NY
The much anticipated Christie’s “The Collection of Elizabeth Taylor Exhibit” opened October 13th to a sold-out crowd in LA. OmniTicket Network supplied the technology for timed ticket sales to this exhibit online, as well as on-site support during the exhibit held at MOCA Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles. In order to accommodate the high demand by the public, OmniTicket was able to expand the available exhibit times for special viewings. Visitors were enchanted by the items on display which included jewelry, artwork and clothing from the movie star’s amazing collection. After the incredible success in LA, the Collection moved on to the final stop of the exhibit from December 3 to 12, 2011 at Christies’ Rockefeller Center galleries in New York City. Tickets were available in advance for specific times by visiting the Websales pages provided by OmniTicket Network. Visitors to the website were also able to pre-order a book that Christies’ describes as a “special salute to the astonishing life led by the last great movie star, Elizabeth Taylor.” Christie’s honored Elizabeth Taylor’s dedication to charitable causes by donating a portion of the profits generated by ticket sales and select publications to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF).
