High attendance during the opening of Wet'n'Wild Sydney in Australia prompted staff to open the $120 million water park before 10 a.m. The facility, which includes "The Beach" and "Wet'n'Wild Junior," is estimated to contribute $500 million to the local economy in its first 10 years. "This is not just the western Sydney's epicenter of family fun, but a major tourist attraction which will boost employment and the local economy," said Tourism and Major Events Minister George Souris.
