Feb 01, 2009 - Our recent successes with projects in Asia and Dubai have strengthened our position in these strategically important markets,” commented OmniTicket Network President Paolo Moro at the recent IAAPA trade show in Orlando, Florida, when referring to a number of major, globally recognized projects the company has completed and is currently involved in.
These recent projects have included the ticketing and access control system for the 2008 Singapore F1 Grand Prix, and the temporary Global Village theme park attraction in Dubai. OmniTicket has also been awarded a project to provide the ticketing and access control systems for the permanent Global Village theme park attraction in Dubai, which is scheduled to open in 2010. “We are delighted with the success of these major projects, among many others, during the past year,” said Moro. “The permanent Global Village project is another major contract for us and I am pleased to say that it was our multi-site integration capability that convinced the developer, Tatweer, to select OmniTicket.”
OmniTicket took the opportunity to highlight our most recent hardware and software innovations at the IAAPA Expo.
“We have had great success implementing integrated RFID and bar code solutions,” Moro revealed. “For instance, we have introduced a new high-end RFID turnstile which is fully integrated with our system and is already installed and in use at the Global Village site.”
Moro went on to say that, “Our new Overview 7 software is a fully open, distributed ticketing system that can be used for all ticketing-related areas, both on-site and online. This type of solution is unprecedented in our industry.
And he added: “Our geographical expansion, hardware advances and the introduction of Overview 7 have combined to create a real page turner for OmniTicket. We’ve always had highly advanced functionality in our products, but these latest developments have taken us to a new level. |
