Merger Creates Ticketing Powerhouse

Aug 01, 2009 - OmniTicket Network and Best Union Company have completed the merger announced earlier this year.  The result?  A highly-synergized, industry leader which now ranks in the top five ticketing companies around the world.  Customers from both companies can now take advantage of more global resources and turnkey solutions than ever before.

“The synergies are perfect, and the opportunity for growth is exciting,” said Paolo Moro, former OmniTicket President and Corporate Business Development Executive of the new group.  “This merger will allow us to offer a wider range of solutions to customers around the world, while focusing on what we do best – managing ticket needs for every kind of event.”

The OmniTicket offices will continue to attraction and even business under the OmniTicket name, while relying on the staffing, resources, and event management expertise of Best Union.  At the same time, Best Union can now leverage OmniTicket’s worldwide software applications and technological leadership in the ticketing business.“For our customers, this means more options and greater control to cost-effectively host their events – anywhere in the world,” said Luca Montebugnoli, CEO of Best Union.  “I could not be more pleased with the outcome of this merger, and the benefits it will bring to our customers, employees and shareholders.”

That merger has effectively doubled the size of the new group, with 2009 revenue projected at more than $30 million, despite the worldwide economic downturn.  Furthermore, both companies will now be able to draw from each other’s expertise and resources to create even more advanced ticketing and access control solutions going forward.
