Aug 01, 2009 - Wild Adventures in Valdosta, GA, recently switched to OmniTicket’s Overview system for park-wide ticketing and real-time integrated web sales. This means enhanced service for guests, greater efficiencies at the gate, and streamlined reporting tools for park management.
The two-month project replaces the park’s previous system, providing greater control over ticket attributes, season passes, assigned seating and more. Furthermore, Overview is fully integrated with the Herschend Family Entertainment corporate website. This provides a seamless buying experience for Wild Adventures guests, and allows for robust data collection and reporting on the back-end.
“With season passes, before we had to manually type each person’s entire contact information … even though it was the same members of a household,” said Jennifer Hall, Corporate Ticketing Administrator for Herschend. “Now, that information is managed automatically through Overview. We’ve also added concert sales online, which has saved us a lot in labor dollars.”
The new functionality allows Wild Adventures to integrate assigned seating with its base ticket – just in time for the summer crowds as the park’s country music concert series kicks off. This means fewer steps for purchasing, and less time exchanging vouchers at the gate.
“Overall, the better technology and corporate-wide solution just made sense for us to move to Overview,” Hall said. |
